A fun lunchbox doesn’t have to be hard work

A fun lunchbox doesn’t have to be hard work

For mums, when inspiration hits, a fantastic lunchbox is only a few minutes away. However, sometimes no matter how hard you try, you just can’t figure out the path to a creative lunchbox. We’re here to help with a few tips.

Think outside the bread: Not everything needs to be a sandwich. Try wrapping lunch favourites in tortillas, or even go a step further by frying them and making quesadillas with gooey melted cheese.

Get creative with favourites: Always think of twists on traditional foods. For example, make pizza with mini pita bread slices instead of dough.

Go for a DIY lunch: Rather than making lunch, you can pack all components separately and let the kids take control of their meal. Slice up some cheese and fruits, then add a hummus dip on the side along with crackers, for example. All they need to do is mix and match!

Use the muffin tray: Traditional muffins can be boring, so why not use this handy tool to make muffin-shaped treats instead? You can mix up some veggies with eggs and pop them into the oven or even make macaroni and cheese cupcakes.

Spice up those beverages: Add colour, flavour, fruit and fun while keeping beverages cool with infused ice cubes.

Write your kids little notes: Aside from old-fashioned, handwritten notes, you can snap a rubber band around bananas and attach small motivational messages. You can also stick some labels on containers.

There you go mums, hopefully we’ve made it a bit easier for you. What are your favourite lunchbox ideas?
